A-Z Index Page.

Having a key index page on the site gives the user the option of finding out what they are specifically looking for by topic. The option lists the available topics that are currently in the site. The page uses an image map for the main reference which is a graphic file containing the letters of the alphabet. Each letter has been 'mapped' or co-ordinated so that when the letter is selected it goes down to the reference on the same page.

Future developments for this page would be to sub-divide the page once the site becomes heavily populated to save on the down-load time.

Help Page. (Not Shown)

This is a key issue. When the user clicks on the 'help' link then it goes to the help file. However there is an option that when the help file is closed a copy will remain on the top of the current frame being viewed. This would be useful for the user who wishes to browse through the site while having the help file constantly open.

It is short for Frequently Asked Questions. This is a standard that the mojotiry of web sites have. It is designed to answer questions about our web site and the information that we provide. It is to aid the user by providing online help to generic problems areas that DETR or we have identified.

Search Page. (Not Shown)

A built in search engine will aid in helping the user with finding documents within the site. By typing in the keyword, the engine will find those pages related to the word selected. Within the pages in the site you can use a technique known as 'spamming' to make the search work more efectively. 'Spamming' is basically featuring many as times as possible the key word.
